Beth McClary-Wolford

 Chief Revenue Officer/ Outsourced Sales Leadership

Beth is a talented, results-producing sales team manager and leader…a career professional with a proven record of outstanding results in challenging environments. Her expertise includes developing and implementing strategic account plans in support of business goals and objectives. Over the last 34 years, she has used her talents and dynamic leadership to consistently build and maintain strong results-driven sales teams in the Chattanooga marketplace.   Beth has revamped sales processes as well as introduced new sales processes that are designed to drive revenue generation and increase long-term customer retention.

As a strategic thinker and sales leader, Beth uses her depth of experience and assessment skills to build expectation driven sales teams—identifying the strengths and weaknesses of current sales processes (or lack of processes), building on sales team member strengths and helping with new skills development, their coach-ability, and learning styles.  She implements well-proven methodologies that will improve sales functions and sales performance for a company.  

No matter the industry or role, Beth uses her sales management and leadership background to develop programs, processes, and technology improvements.  She impacts all parts of the customer and sales experience—recruiting, hiring, interviewing, employee assessment testing, sales curriculum development and coaching, compensation plan development and implementation, business plan development and implementation, as well as mentoring for all functions within an organization.  She loves working with all levels – a new hire, an existing salesperson, or a mid-level sales team manager. 

Beth is a professional relationship-building expert.  She has an intuitive knack for quickly understanding what truly matters to both colleagues and clients alike, and she expertly appeals to their ultimate “why” in life, which allows her to build rapport and effectively understand their true pain in life or in business. This deep-rooted understanding and empathy allows her to match products and services to potential clients and ensure a long-term fit as well as to foster healthy working relationships between coworkers.

When asked how long she has lived in Chattanooga, Beth enthusiastically shares that she considers herself a “native transplant” since she has lived here since 1985.  She came here to join her mother, Sandra Long Wooley, the assistant to the rector at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, and to attend University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  She received her Bachelors in Art majoring in Communications: Broadcast Journalism in 1987 and started her sales career. 

She is the proud mother of three amazing children—Kristopher, Mary, and Ben Hunsucker. Beth calls herself Moma of a precious rescue pup, Toby, and sweet cat, Truly. She is a Highland Park resident with her husband, Jeff Wolford. Beth is a proud Army wife to her Judge Advocate General/ Lieutenant Colonel (Georgia Army National Guard) as well as the managing law partner for Wolford and Robinson Law Firm, specializing in credit and collections. 

Beth is an avid supporter of the Arts and a volunteer performer and Board Member at Chattanooga Theatre Centre.  Her most recent favorite roles include Donna in Mamma Mia; Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly;  the tap dancing school teacher, Miss Shields, in A Christmas StoryThe Musical, Elizabeth Gabriel in The Library; the rapping nun, Sister Mary Lazarus, in Sister Act; the evil woman, Melpomene, in Xanadu;  and Violet in 9 to 5.

Beth is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, top-performing polished professional driven to deliver solution-based results.  She has strong business acumen with attention to detail, and a keen ability to recruit, train, and coach sales staff.  She is considered a change-agent expert and turnaround specialist.  Her advertising experience allows her to recommend and implement sales tools and advertising/online marketing techniques to create the desired end results.

Bill Thornton

Sales Coach

With over thirty years of experience leading sales teams and fostering a growth mindset, Bill is a resonant sales leader who knows how to drive results. Born and raised in Chattanooga, Bill earned a BA in Communications from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Bill’s journey in sales began as an advertising account executive with WDSI Television. However, he soon found a new opportunity with Comcast Corporation, where he spent an impressive thirty-four years, gaining invaluable experience in a Fortune 50 company. Throughout his career, Bill has successfully led sales teams at the Director level, overseeing single and multiple markets with annual revenues exceeding ten million dollars.

Bill firmly believes that the key to success in any organization lies in an effective sales strategy. He has consistently delivered exceptional results by focusing on three crucial components: People, Process, and Culture. By leveraging this winning formula, Bill has not only achieved remarkable personal success but has also helped numerous businesses develop a growth mindset.

Sydney Miller

Sydney is currently a junior student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she is studying Marketing and minoring in Business. With a passion for social media, Sydney specializes in creating engaging and impactful posts to help businesses reach their target audience. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through working out and exploring the great outdoors through hiking.
